Terms of Use
These Terms of Use, hereinafter referred to as "Terms and Conditions" or "T&C" or "Terms" or "Agreement," along with any other Policy or Statement or Information that may be placed on this website, hereinafter referred to as "Company" or “Website” or “We” or “Us,” as modified or amended from time to time, are a binding contract between the company and you, hereinafter referred to as "You" or "User" or "Your" or "Buyer" or "Customer."
If you visit, use, or shop at the site or any future site operated by us, you accept these Terms and Conditions. In addition, when you use any current or future services of the company or visit or purchase from any business affiliated with the company or third-party vendors, whether or not included in the site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or merchant. If these conditions are inconsistent with such guidelines and conditions, such guidelines and conditions will control.
By subscribing to or using any of our products or services, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by the Terms and Conditions, regardless of how you subscribe to or use our products or services. If you do not want to be bound by the terms, you must not subscribe to or use our services.
WHOLESALE ORDERS ONLY
This website is for WHOLESALE ORDERS ONLY. You agree not to give you login details to a third party/retail customer or your account will be immediately terminated. Additionally, you will not share images or prices from this website. All images/product descriptors and other content remain the intellectual property of Geological George and may not be used without permission.
PAYMENT TERMS
WE REQUIRE A DEPOSIT OF 20% WITHIN 24HRS OF YOUR INVOICE!
When you add an items to your cart and go through the checkout, this is an Order Request. This Request is picked and weighed, and an INVOICE is created based on 'picked weight' and postage. ALL POSTAGE IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY(see more information here).
Invoices require a 20% deposit within 24hrs of email to cover the cost of picking your order. Orders cancelled before Deposit may result in account cancellation and removal from all Geological George services.
All Deposits are non-refundable.
Invoices are sent EVERY Thursday regardless of whether partial payment has been made or $1 hold.
- PAYMENTS - You must make a MINIMUM of at least 1 PAYMENT per week on your Invoice.
- Invoices MUST be paid in full by 30 days after the Invoice is created.
- To hold post and add more items, please leave $1 unpaid. This MUST be paid within 30 days of invoice start date.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All DEPOSITS (20%) are non-refundable and cover the cost of picking and packing your order.
Personalized items are made to order; we are unable to accommodate refunds or exchanges to personalized pieces once your order has been submitted.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law cannot be waived. If items arrive DAMAGED or go MISSING before delivery, please contact us ASAP
- Breakages – in the event of ANY breakages you MUST keep the broken item AND ALL PACKAGING until otherwise advised. We need this to put a claim in to Australia Post /Courier. No refunds will be given if this is not kept!
- Missing items – if you believe you are missing an item, we will ask you to lay out everything in your order and photograph it. All items are checked against a packing list as it is packed, so missing items are rare and most often hiding in the packing material.
- Missing Parcels: Please use your TRACKING NUMBER to view the progress of any parcels. Geological George DOES NOT guarantee ANY shipping times as we are not a courier. Certain times per year (Covid outbreaks, Christmas peak periods) shipping may take longer than usual. If shipping is outside of the carrier's range, please CONTACT US to start an investigation with the carrier. We will work with you and them to get your items to you!
- Items recorded by Australia Post/Courier Service as DELIVERED correctly will not be refunded.
ORDER CANCELLATION/MODIFICATION
All cancellations incur a restocking fee covered by your DEPOSIT and is non-refundable. You will then receive your PAID goods to the value you have paid, minus the fee and postage costs. No monies will be returned to the buyer - these are NOT LAYBUYS.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED TO THE ADDRESS ON YOUR INVOICE! IT IS ABSOLUTELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK YOUR INVOICE TO MAKE SURE SHIPPING DETAILS ARE CORRECT. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT AS CHANGES MADE IN YOUR CLIENT PORTAL MAY NOT BE REFLECTED ON YOUR INVOICE!!!
We currently only ship to AUSTRALIA
We print and pack on Tuesday and Thursday, excluding holidays. Once your order is processed and shipped out, we will notify you with your tracking information.
Shipping will be applied to your INVOICE only and will not appear as an amount on your cart as we do not take a deposit on shipping. We do not profit from shipping, and by ordering with us you agree that we will add the amount appropriate to get your order to you in one piece. IF YOU WISH TO ARRANGE YOUR OWN SHIPPING please contact us.
Rates:
Australia Post Satchel up to 5kg;
Sm $9 Med $14 Lg $19
Courier Boxes are invoiced at $35 per box. However, if shipping comes to less than this, you will receive CREDIT ONLY towards your next order. If it is more we will send you an additional invoice. You are WELCOME to arrange and pay for your own shipping.

The owners and operators of this website take the protection of your data very seriously. We treat your data confidentially and according to the legal data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal data. Personal data, such as your email addresses, is always provided to us voluntarily and only when you subscribe to our newsletter. Other personal data, including your name and address, is only required if you are ordering goods.
An external, PCI-compliant payment gateway (PayPal, Stripe) handles all credit card payment transactions.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. Besides, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order, and all transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Pre-orders will be done vial that group, but WILL NOT be invoiced until the stock physically arrives as we do not take payment for stock we don't have.
